I really liked Dr. Campbell. She is very laid back and easy going, but at the same time, she's up front and honest and tells it like it is. She doesn't sugar coat anything, but she doesn't assault you with what she's saying either. I felt very comfortable with her.
They have an in-house lab for blood work and I got some results within minutes. They do basic x-rays on site so if those are needed, you don't have to make an additional appointment with an imaging facility.
My only real complaint is the wait time. It is excessive. Bring a book or a have a game ready on your phone because you'll need something to pass the time.
TERRIBLE PRACTICE. Makes you wake almost 2 hours and pay a $25 co-pay just for them to tell you information you could've received on the phone. Be ready to be there for 2-3 hours every appointment
RUDE STAFF - SURPRISE BILLS
I had a wart removed last year. The procedure took 20 seconds of spraying liquid nitrogen. I had insurance at the time so everything seemed ok.
15 months later, I get a bill for $74. I called them about this statement.
$104 was the cost of the office visit.
$150 was the cost of the wart removal. The 20 second procedure.
After insurance and copay, I'm left with a bill of $74. Which they didn't bother charging me until 15 months later, during the pandemic, when money is tight already.
I've been loyal to Campbell Family Practice for ten years, I've recommended them to family and friends. And now I'm asking myself, why?
It took me over a week to talk to the staff about my last bill. I called every work day at different times, left messages. I finally got in touch with someone by trying random extension lines. Ridiculous.
Even with an appointment, there is a long wait. The wait room TVs are blasting at full volume. The staff is rude. If you allow them, they will continually run tests on you (hundreds of dollars that you'll get billed for months later).
I'm sick of hemorrhaging funds to Campbell Family Practice. Save yourself the stress, Campbell Family Practice is garbage, go anywhere else.
Rudest people. They are horrible on the phone and seem to not know how to operate a phone. Don't go here if you can help it.
These people asked me for my new insurance information weeks ago which I provided to them through their patient portal service. I show up to my 8:30AM appointment and here I am at 9:00 still waiting to even be called to the back because they have to "verify" my insurance. What was the point of me providing the information weeks ago if they weren't going to do it then? These ppl have no respect for time!
I gave up actually seeing Dr. C or Dr. G. I never even seen them in the communal areas. I suspect they are just there in name only. I would like a PA then they would leave. HUUUUGEEE turnover. I see Brenda only. I have built a rapport with her over the years. She will listen to me and I have what I view is an actual patient/provider relationship. Which is why if she leaves, I leave. No one else there does that. Answering the phone has gotten better. For a while it was impossible to get through. The wait times are long so I now opt for Tele visit if I can. Those are pretty timely and I can wait at home. The billing is never quite right. The whole establishment has gone down hill over the past years. I have been coming here for decades with my whole family. Brenda is the last thread in my moving on. She also responds to her patient portal messages AND she calls you.
Very impressed with everyone who works here. The office is spacious, very clean and open 7 days a week! Can't beat that! Dr. Campbell is very thorough, listens intently and a perfect bedside manner for such a lovely doctor. I have had the pleasure of seeing the nurse practitioners as well as Dr. Gebranious and I cannot say enough good things. The nurses are very sweet, respectful and thorough as well as the office staff receptionists and imaging team. The rooms are also very clean and interesting as there much to read and inform yourself on if one wanted to. There is also a med spa attached to it, which they do botox, lip fillers, face lifts, to facials and other services to preserve our beauty as we age. If you needed a ct scan, or a more in depth urine screening, they have that just one office building over. Love my doctor office so much!
I was misdiagnosed twice. Was given several prescriptions of medications I wasn't suppose to take due to their misdiagnosis.
I think they can only work with patients with common health concerns (blood pressure, allergies, cholesterol, etc). Don't come to them for anything more than that, probably best to see a more well rounded family practice with more education.
The front office staff will argue with the patients just like today I was about 3 minutes away and I was supposed to be there at 8:30 so I was calling to give them a heads up. The lady answered and I could hear her fine and she kept saying hello hello and then hung up. I got there and talked to them and she said she could not hear me and another co worker came over and told her her head phones were not turned on and she kept arguing with her making it my fault. I got here at 8:31 for 8:30 appointment it is now 8:48 and still waiting. Nothing has changed. Kris the PA is great but the children up front are just that kids looking for a paycheck. Every time you mention it to someone it never helps
WARNING - POTENTIAL PATIENTS BEWARE!!!
My family and I were patients for several years. The situation at this office has become unbelievably disgraceful.
No matter how on time you are for your appt the wait time is over a hour long.
Somehow, the office always finds a way that you owe additional money.
Plus, they always tell you that you need to come back for more tests. REALLY - SCAM
I have several family members in the medical field that add up to over 54 years of experience. That means we are more than qualified to know a correct diagnosis from an incorrect diagnosis.
It is unbelievable how unqualified these staff members are at their jobs as well as being extremely rude and unprofessional.
"P.A.'s a rewarding career helping others".
EXAMPLE: My brother went to one of the "not so qualified" PA's and she told him he had "pink eye". She prescribed nothing!!!
I absolutley did not believe her at all so I took my brother to his eye doctor and he had a serious eye infection. He was prescribed by his eye doctor an antibiotic and had to wear an eye patch for 2 weeks.
